    Tamron TAP-in console Nikon
    is a lens accessory that allows that you yourself can perform firmware updates and customized settings for selected Tamron lenses. For this, you simply connect the Tamron TAP-in console and use the free Tamron Tap-in Utility software for PC or Mac. Previously firmware updates could only be performed by Camtech, the Tamron Customer Service Center, but now you can do it yourself.
